Lizards

I have never really been interested in lizards until I saw them in Australia.
They are beautiful, facinating creatures.

Fred, Kym's granddad, cought a baby frilled Lizard and I held it in my hand. It was very soft and felt very different from what I thought it would. Sorry no photos yet.... Hopefully Kym will send me some from Marge's camera.

But I have this litte chap for you. It's cought in Kym's garden and I have no idea of what it is:

There were lots of Geckos around Kyms house. They were ok, but not that cute. Kym said that they sometimes drop off the wall and lands in your head. I wouldn't like that!

I did find one very cute gecko though! A baby gecko that came into the house and sat on the ceiling every night. I loved it!

I even got a video of it running around to catch mosquitos:

 

I hope you enjoyed the video! I was not easy to get! The gecko refused to move when the camera was near it. It would dance around and have the wildest mosquito party, but as soon as it saw the camera, it froze! I even made my dad chase it with a broom to make it move! :D

We saw other and bigger lizards than geckos :)

Isn't he beautiful? Look at his eyes and colours!
