Whisper was imported to Denmark from England in March 2000 - when he was only 9 weeks old. He came out of his travel-crate as if he only had been taking a short nap (and not just travelled for 7 hours from the UK). He took everyone by storm and he still does to this day.
He is an active, happy charmer with ever-increasing amounts of energy and strange antics.

 

 

Whisper is a true all-rounder and has been successful in several dog-sports.

Har started obedience training as soon as he arrived to Denmark. In September 2002 he earned the title Danish Obedience Champion. He has also passed the AKC Canine Good Citizens Test (CGC). Whisper was Obedience Class 1 Border Collie of The Year 2001 and Obedience Class 2 Border Collie of the Year 2002.

Whisper qualified for the Danish Obedience Championships during 2002. On Sunday the 6th of October, we competed in Open Level Obedience. Whisper scored 210 points out of 220 possible. He had the highest score of the day and won the Danish Obedience Championships!

Since then Whisper has concentrated on Heelwork To Music. He has performed all over Denmark including appearing on National TV twice. He has had great succes at both National and International competitions. He won the Individual Silver medal at the Nordic Championship in Göteborg (Sweden) 2008, represented Denmark at Crufts 2009, won the Nordic HTM Championship 2009 in Denmark and he has earned the English title HTM N Ex.
Whisper was both HTM and Freestyle Dog Of The Year 2008 in the Danish Kennel Club and in the Danish Border Collie Klub and HTM Dog Of The Year 2009 (KC).

Whisper is a fun dog to work with. He loves working, and he is fast and intelligent. He has the perfect temperament for obedience training and Heelwork To Music. He was the first dog ever to gain the Danish Heelwork To Music and Freestyle Champion titles.

Another 'love in life' is herding. Whisper has inherited his fathers excellent instinct, which makes him easy to work with. In November 2002 he gained his FCI herding title.

Whisper has a special place in my heart. Words can not describe how important he is to me.
